Delivered Remote Climate Industry Training to 1500+ Professionals
OnePointFive was asked to design a remote climate training program for cohorts of over 1,500+ global professionals, in partnership with Climatebase for their career accelerator program. The goal was to upskill professionals to be able to examine climate challenges and real-world solutions across all key climate sectors, enabling them develop essential green skills in climate strategy, decarbonization, and corporate sustainability, to ultimately adopt or transition into sustainability-focused roles.
OPF’s Solution
Modular, scalable curriculum
OnePointFive created detailed curriculum covering 9 climate & sustainability topics for cohorts of 1,500+ professionals; thematic curriculum topics were selected based on feedback from 2,000+ climate professionals. The program, delivered over 12 weeks, included 12+ hours of live, interactive content, including 2 hour curriculum sessions, office hours, and case study deep-dives. The program itself was flexible, allowing professionals to fit training into their standard work schedules and enable global participation.
Targeted learning for diverse roles
The curriculum addressed the needs of both junior and senior industry professionals seeking to enter the climate workforce by providing an overview of key topics required to solve the climate crisis, starting with climate change fundamentals, expanding to energy, infrastructure, food & agriculture solutions, and more. Case study deep dives enabled tailoring of content to industry and regionally-specific contexts, enabling professionals to connect key learnings to their career and global experiences. This made it easy for professionals to apply green skills and content training in line with their specific career goals.
