What do you do outside OPF?

A theater kid by training, I enjoy attending live performances of all kinds, especially theater and dance. During the pandemic, I spent more time practicing Chinese calligraphy, building jigsaw puzzles, and discovered my passion in cooking & baking. Also, if you see a 5’1 setter on the volleyball court, that might as well be me!

What is rewarding about being with OPF?

At OnePointFive, you are always trusted with opportunity and space to grow, and you can always count on the team for guidance and support whenever in need. Diversity on all aspects—personal and professional—is respected, celebrated, and leveraged towards concrete climate action.

What is your favorite climate or sustainability resource?

I found Beyond the Buzzwords a very useful “encyclopedia for beginners” as I take my baby steps into sustainability. This is a website born from the collaboration between the Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) and the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (CITY), where experts in the field break down the buzzwords with a nicely curated set of resources.

What type of expertise do you have?

It takes many hands to put a show on stage (and even more to keep warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius!) —teambuilding and strategic communication are what I honed from my experience as project manager and producer in the performing arts industry. During my time with OPF, I gained practical learning experience in climate tech, climate physical risk, and climate policy. Research-wise, my works can be found in UNESCO ICCSD’s “Creative 2030” and Yale University’s “Theater Management Knowledge Base”.
